There are lots of ways to cure winter cold, or let you feel warm, but one of the most effective and natural one is having Indian curry or dishes in your diet during winters. The reason behind are the ingredients used in Indian food. It's the most easy way to cure the cold and keep your body warmer in chilling winters.
Here are some immunity booster dishes and ingredients which prevents you to get cold in winters and keeps your body warm.

Everyone prefers to use natural or herbal treatment for their cold feelings.
Indian foods are also a way to cure the winter cold and keep the body warmer.The best example is Indian Masala Tea! It helps a lot if you are looking for a remedy to cold.  Most of the herbs and spices in Masala tea are considered warming. Masala tea is being cooked with milk, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamon etc. One glass of Masala tea is the best remedy to slowly cure your cold , or help your sickness to get well quickly.

Turmeric
It is one of the most widely used spice in whole world which has so many benefits accepted and proved by the modern science. It is detoxifying and enhances the intelligence of the immune cells.Turmeric may also help treat a variety of conditions related to inflammation and antioxidant damage.And some research suggests that turmeric may help relieve some symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis.That's why lots of Indian soups, curries and chicken tandoori has a rich turmeric inside.

Fennel

One of the most powerful spice is fennel. It has been used to treat digestive ailments and helps relieve uncomfortable gastrointestinal symptoms. Fennel seeds are used as a spice in cooking and to make herbal medicines.In Indian restaurants, fennel seeds are offered as an after dinner breath freshener. Cayenne Pepper
It is rich in vitamin C, and helps relieve chills, coughs and congestion. Sprinkling a bit of cayenne pepper between one’s shoes and socks can help warm the feet when needing to be outdoors. Cinnamon

Garlic
It helps one be more resistant to infection. Garlic is a potent vasodilator and improves circulation by helping to prevent the blood from clumping together. Garlic is one of the most important and flavorful ingredient in Indian curries and meat dishes (except pure vegetarian meals) which has a huge impact in case of taste as well. 

 

Ginger
It is a natural antioxidant and antiseptic. It improves circulation of blood to all parts of the body. Ginger baths are warming, muscle relaxing and cold and flu relieving and can be made by simmering eight ounces of ginger into a half gallon of water, simmering at a low boil for twenty minutes, then straining into the bathtub. Ginger and Garlic uses both a lot in Indian dishes for marinating meats etc. Ginger Masala tea is a favorite in most north of India where the temperatures drops too low during winters. Mustard 
It is high in vitamin C, and aids in the digestion of fatty foods. Horseradish is antiseptic and a strong decongestant; helping to open congested respiratory passages.Use more of the warming culinary herbs to spice up your food and as teas to promote a healthy, warming glow throughout the body.

Black pepper
Black pepper (Piper nigrum) is a member of the Piperaceae (Pepper) Family. It has antiseptic, and antioxidant properties.

Spinach

It can be said that lots of Indian curries are made by spinach. Because the spinach is rich in folic acid which helps repair cells. It is also really high in Vitamin C. The potassium and magnesium of spinach keeps the body well-hydrated and helps keeping the energy levels in balance.

 

MUSHROOM

Mushroom is indispensable item of Indian foods. Because the mushroom is a very rare vegetable which has Vitamin D. That's why you will see a big amount of mushroom on pizzas, in pasta dishes and Indian curries.

Furthermore, they are a great sources of zinc ,and contains immune-supportive agents that can help kill the viruses and bacteria.

 

 

YOGURT
